It turns out the residents of the Dreamlands are swayed pretty easily by Fake Credentials. This was the main game plan for Team “Team Smrt Choices” in Search for Kadath: use four copies of Fake Credentials 4 across both investigators to cheat clues off of locations, ignoring various negative effects on locations and treacheries. This let the team walk away with the first official scenario full clear and a whopping 31 points.

Daniel brought a Winifred Habbamock deck that utilized Fake Credentials 4, Haste, and British Bulldog to handle all problems thrown his way. While this proved successful overall, an ill-timed autofail put Daniel on a bit of a back foot at the start of the scenario, but all the extra actions let him leave tempo-positive in the end. Meanwhile, fylion returned with Alessandra Zorzi and brought a deck that utilized Fake Credentials 4, Haste, and British Bulldog (wait a minute…). Fylion leaned hard on the Fake Credentials and Alessandra’s ability to always stay one step ahead of the game, even when multiple autofails returned those Fake Credentials to fylion’s hand multiple times.
