Team “Team Smrt Choices” proved that slow and steady wins the race with their first match in Major League Arkham. These two players, Daniel and Fylion, approached each of the challenges the scenario threw at them with careful consideration, overcoming the constant roadblocks and walking away with a full clear.

Daniel brought our second William Yorick deck of round one, leaning on a Sledgehammer and Endurance combo as a consistent source of damage to bring down the Royal Emissary six times (tying the record for most Emissary kills in round one). Meanwhile, Fylion built his own little “rat-lock” combo with Alessandra, Beguiling some rats in the early game to keep the Emissary down, eventually transitioning into a money-loaded Well Connected deck to maneuver through whatever challenges were thrown his way.
